Running Springs Area Description
The United States Census Bureau has reported that there are 5,086 residents in Running Springs City in 2000. Only 4,810 of the residents have been living in the city for at least 5 years. The population is further spread out to 1,264 individuals aged 5 to 20 years, 3,045 individuals aged 21 ti 64 years and 435 individuals aged 65 years and above.
Basing on the same year's census result of the United States Census Bureau, there are 1,385 Running Springs residents aged 3 years and above that are enrolled in school. There 35 nursery school children, 68 kindergarten pupils, 587 elementary school goers, 425 high school students and 270 college and graduate school enrollees.
